Compounded Fissure Topical Therapy

Trauma or injury can cause the lining of the anus to stretch and tear; known as an anal fissure. There are surgical and nonsurgical treatment options available and the goal of therapy is to relieve pain and discomfort, and heal the torn lining. Physicians also have the option to prescribe customized medications, compounded specially for you. These medications can help with healing by increasing blood flow to the area and helping to relax the sphincter, and decrease pain with topical anesthetics. Your doctor will know the best treatment option for you.

PAH Therapy

Having pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is different than having regular high blood pressure. It means that you have increased pressure in the arteries that go from your heart to your lungs which can increase the blood pressure in these vessels and put strain on your heart. Pulmonary hypertension is a serious condition that will worsen over time, but treatments can help your symptoms so you can live better with the disease.

Pulmonary hypertension varies from person to person, so your treatment plan will be specific to your needs. We specialize in treating PAH with monoclonal antibody therapy.

Autoimmune Therapy

Autoimmune conditions can vary greatly in presentation of symptoms, though they often share similar, common features of the underlying disorders.

Rheumatoid Arthritis, or RA, is one of the most prevalent autoimmune conditions affecting patients today, with millions of people afflicted in both the U.S. and worldwide. This chronic inflammatory disorder can affect more than your joints. Treatments aim to reduce pain and discomfort, as well as prevent deformity and damage to the skin, eyes, lungs, heart and blood vessels associated with RA.
